My Razorcake review of this one:
"The goal of any good fanzine is to put the fan at the fore: to communicate with readers your love of the scene. Justin does that in spades in this issue (tome, really) of Wasted Opportunities, the second I’ve read: thoughtful and wide-ranging interviews with Electric Chair, Rat Cage, and Dark Thoughts got me off my ass, looking around for more from all three bands. The interviews were more like conversations than anything else, offering bits of insight into the people in the bands rather than relying on tired “what are your influences?” types of tropes. Each interview goes deep, averaging twenty pages (!), with reviews rounding things out. Saying that this one is among Australia’s best zines sells it way short—it’s time for Wasted Opportunities to be regarded as one of the best zines, period."
